This Checklist summarises the key points from your Pre-Deployment Financial Brief during Force Preparation. Working through and completing this checklist before your deployment will help give you financial peace of mind before and during your deployment.

	Have you completed the online budget planner? Resist impulse buying
Insurance:
	Have you considered insurance such as: life insurance, health insurance or an accident plan? Check for validity in a 'a war zone', 'warlike conditions' or similar.
Compensation and Superannuation:
	Have you researched and understood your entitlements under military superannuation and compensation?
Bank accounts:
	Have you provided all details to the next of kin?
	Have you considered making your spouse or partner a signatory?
	Have you considered giving your spouse or partner online access?
Credit cards:
	Have you made arrangements for regular payments?
	Have you agreed on the use of subsidiary cards?
	Have you checked the card's acceptability overseas?
Bills:
