Tony is an independent professional speaker, writer, and researcher on areas related to the financial services industry. He is Managing Director of Financial & Technical Solutions Pty Ltd which he founded in 2001.

Tony writes the weekly DIY Super column in The Australian newpaper.

Tony has 20 years experience in the financial services industry in which he has previously held a number of senior positions.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma in Business Systems from Monash University. He also has a Diploma in Journalism and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation). He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia).

He is married with four children.
