Glen Tye

Glen Tye is a Project Officer with the ADF Financial Services Consumer Council, having previously held the position of Director Personnel Support and Amenities in the Defence Support Group.

He has been a member of the Australian Public Service since 1973 working in a number of Commonwealth agencies including Army, Defence, Social Security and Comcare. Glen has largely worked in the personnel area specialising in workers' compensation, rehabilitation and return to work, safety management, personnel policy development and welfare and amenity support. He has received a number of commendations for his work in these areas.

In 2003 he was selected to attend the Defence and Strategic Studies Course, Defence's senior staff course involving representatives of twenty Asia-Pacific nations at the Australian Defence College where he was awarded a Graduate Diploma of Strategic Studies. Glen has a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
