Flight Lieutenant Mendoza-Jones is the Manager Operations of the ADF Financial Services Consumer Council and a Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force Specialist Reserve.

His roles include management of the Council’s staff and business including its legal and financial services-related projects, ADF financial education and consumer protection programs and assisting the Chairman with special projects for the Chief of the Defence Force and Service Chiefs.

Flight Lieutenant Mendoza-Jones qualified as a solicitor at law firm Allens Arthur Robinson in Sydney where he worked in the Insurance, Financial Services, Mergers & Acquisitions and Communications Media & Technology practice groups.

Flight Lieutenant Mendoza-Jones attended the University of New South Wales where he was awarded the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws. He was the Editor of the special edition of the University of New South Wales Law Journal on Australian Military Law, launched by the Chief of the Defence Force in 2005.
